GARDENING: OCTOBER VEGETABLES (DAY 7) Watermelon Radish

Look at how much the watermelon radishes have grown!

I have come to conclude that watermelon radishes should be planted directly in ground/spoil after my little experiment. A week ago, I planted 2 sets of watermelon radish seeds in 1. mini greenhouse and 2. in my raised pallet bed planter. The ones in the mini greenhouse sprouted first but it became leggy pretty fast. The ones in the raised bed sprouted 2 days after but as it grows, it looked a lot healthier and stronger. I have now (after a week) re-planted the watermelon radishes from the mini greenhouse to the raised bed.

These are the ones that the seeds are planted directly in pallets.
