Succulents: Echeveria (Day 1) Propagating succulents with coco peat

This was my big project of the day. I will be propagating my succulents with coco peat that I got on Amazon for $15.26. I'm experimenting on weather coco peat is a better way to propagate succulents compared to the other soil mixture I used the last time I propagated my Graptosedum which is 1 part Perlite to 1 part Potting Soil.

I hack off a small part of the coco peat block and put it in water for it to expend. Then lay my succulent leafs on top of the coco peat like in the picture above.

It would start to grow roots like this in a few weeks? This particular one dropped out of one of my succulents and started growing roots without me doing anything. I didn't even realize it until I checked on my plants today.
